The Challenge
Landscaping a new home can be daunting for some as the possibilities can be endless. Privacy concerns and a lower level patio were the only directives, the rest of the scope was wide open.
The Solution
The patio was positioned at the walkout doors under the existing deck however we stretched a portion of it out from under the deck's shadow to allow one to soak up the sun's rays when the urge arises. Wrapping the patio with a seat wall offers definition of the space and additional seating for summer parties. Low voltage lighting was built into the wall to make for an inviting and safe space in the evening hours.
Privacy was achieved through strategic positioning of trees in addition to the low maintenance vinyl fencing enclosing the rear of the property.
The sloped area near the patio was the perfect host for a pondless waterfall. This waterfall offers views and soothing sound to people on the upper deck or lower patio.
